Title:
SC 300/SC 400 CD CHANGER SKIPS
Certain conditions such as "skips" and won't play/reads "ERR" may occur on SC 300/SC 400 CD changers (P/N 86270-24050) when the CD is
operating.
DIAGNOSTIC PROCEDURE:
Verify that the skipping condition occurs and is not caused by:
1)
Damaged or dirty disc's (scratches, oil, fingerprints).
2)
Objects in the trunk bumping the CD changer (usually on left turns).
If skipping is not caused by the above, replacement of the CD changer is required.
PRODUCTION EFFECTIVE:
A production change was made by Panasonic in December, 1991.
